New York Law School Choses ForeScout For Network Visibility and Security

With CounterACT now fully implemented, NYLS has nearly eliminated student wireless access complaints, reduced operational risks and significantly decreased support and remediation costs.
NYLS chose ForeScout CounterACT network access control (NAC) for its multi-factored, roles-based device authentication and seamless integration with its existing wired and wireless infrastructure. NYLS found CounterACT easy to administer and deploy, while its lightweight agent was trouble-free for its 1,500 students and 200 faculty members. Immediately after deployment, the NYLS IT staff gained full visibility and control of all devices on the network; the means to easily monitor, control, and inventory systems while allowing for flexible enforcement; and the ability to thwart zero-day threats.
